Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Broadleigh Farm is located on the edge of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is characterised by miles of rolling open countryside. It is also a short distance to the sandy beaches of Torbay, and the seaside towns of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham.

Slightly further afield are the vibrant cities of Exeter and Plymouth. Coupled with the wild, rugged beauty of Dartmoor being just a half hour drive away, there really is no better place from which to explore South Devon.

A stroll from Broadleigh Farm will bring you to Stoke Gabriel, the nearest village to us. Nestled down against the River Dart, this sleepy village is a delight to visit. Whether you want to go crab fishing on the weir, enjoy the annual Summer Carnival or relax with at one of it’s pubs or cafes Stoke Gabriel is a delight to visit.

Broadleigh Farm, itself, is a working farm of 400 acres. We keep cattle and sheep, as well as growing corn and apples. You will see the animals in the beautiful countryside surrounding the site.

The apples that we grow are used to make our very own Hunt’s Cider. This is available to buy on site. We also offer tours of the cider barn.

Whatever the weather you’ll find something for everyone in South Devon. We hope to see you soon.
