Broadleigh Farm Park

The land surrounding Broadleigh is all farmed by us. You will be able to see our cattle grazing in fields adjacent to the caravan site, and sheep grazing in our cider apple orchards.

We have a beef herd of 80 cows, and keep a small flock of 80 sheep.

We farm 400 acres in total, of which 90 acres are used to grow barley. This is to feed our cattle when they come in for the winter.

15 acres are old, traditional orchards. These orchards are at least a couple of hundred years old, and the apples that we grow in them are used to make cider which is available to buy on the farm. Click here to visit our Hunt's Cider website.

The remainder of the land is grassland, some is cut for silage and hay, and the remainder grazed by our animals throughout the summer.

We also keep geese, turkeys and chickens. Eggs are available to buy in reception which come from a neighbouring farm.

It is important to stress that we are a working farm, and that the caravan site is separate from the day to day running of the farm work. We are not a petting farm, and can not offer you a hands on farming experience.
